InnovateU will conduct lessons at your local library. Parents are responsible for ensuring their children are dropped off and picked up at the designated times. Over a two-and-a-half-hour period, students will have the opportunity to meet new friends and engage in learning through presentations and videos. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Below you'll find a schedule outlining a typical day, though please note that adjustments may be made, especially during the first few meetings.

2:15 PM
Dropoff
2:15 PM - 2:30 PM: Introduction
Introduction: It's the beginning of our time together and fifteen minutes will be taken to have everyone settle in. During this time, everyone will get to know each other.
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Presentation
Lesson Presentation: The topic of the days lesson will be introduced and a presentation will be given to students. This will not just be a "sit down lecture", as the students will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and talk to their peers about what they have learned.
3:30 PM - 3:50 PM
Snack: Snacks prepared and provided to all students during the session. We take into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences. If your child has any specific dietary needs, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate them. Expect snacks like doughnuts, bags of chips, and pretzels.
3:50 PM - 4:30 PM
Videos: It's nearing the end of the day and everyone is getting tired. During this time, informational videos about the topics being taught that day will be projected. This is time for the students to relax while still learning.
4:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Pick Up: Pickup starts at 4:30 PM. If the child's parent is having trouble arriving on time, the teacher will stay with the student until their parent has arrived. For everyone's safety, please make sure that the form below is properly filled out so that we are aware of who is picking up whom. It is our top priority to ensure each child's safety. (Pickup times are flexible, if someone needs to be picked up earlier, or later, please send us an email)
